Sugar or honey?

I've started a collection without really realizing it. I always look for teaspoons when in thrift stores. Nothing fancy and I've only gotten one silver spoon. I love iced tea in the summer so they fit right in. Some are cheap and some from nicer sets. So far I've only duplicated one. The count at this time is only 10 and some I've left behind. It's fun looking!

Great idea. I sometimes look for the demitisse spoons for tea. I like these long ice tea spoons. Great collection.

It's fun to have something to "hunt" at flea markets, isn't it? Especially useful items. I like your photos--the order of them. Beautiful.

Fun collection! It is really hard to find a good iced tea spoon these days!

This brings back memories. My mother was a NUT for iced tea and we had loads of these long teaspoons in our drawer. I haven't thought about it, but there is a decided absence of them in my drawer. Maybe I need to keep a look out. Hmmmmm.

I do the same thing! About 2-3 yrs ago there was a "Christmas movie" out with Sarah Jessica Parker -- she visits her fiance's parents home (Sally Field). One particular shot in the movie that made a big impression was a cup beside the coffee pot full of spoons at the ready for stirring add-ins. Right after that, I put one of my footed glasses beside my coffee pot with whatever ice tea spoons I had... next time I went to Goodwill, I dug around in a plastic tub and found another 10 mismatched interesting ice tea spoons! I still look for them but think 24 should be enough, huh? They are so handy on the counter to reach for anytime a quick movement is needed!
**Love the ceiling fan flower in the bowl of your spoons -- see how I notice fleeting details 8~D
