I've got to know! How do all you fiendish knitters do it all? I see completed projects (on other blogs) in record time even! Some have jobs, children, and even stay at home moms like myself although I homeschool as well. When do you fit in your knitting? What other fun things occupy your time? How do you divide it all? Knitting, spinning, reading, athletics, other handwork talents, etc.
Me, I tend to knit after 10pm. I read or knit when I'm waiting on appointments for kids, ball practices, traffic lights!!! Yikes! Tell me. Please!

THANK YOU to all who responded. It seems I am not alone! I think if we listened carefully we could hear the sound of needles clicking all around the world in the wee hours. It could one day over power the crickets!!

I usually dye during the day and the knit at night after the kiddos are in bed. I don't get a ton of sleep, but I love my "ME" time :)
When you figure it out let me know. I have no clue as to how they do it. Or if you are in any of the yahoogroups... how do they blog, post, knit and everything else so fast. Totally confused here on my part also
I knit on the bus on the way home, and then pretty much all night from the time I get home until I go to bed (cooking and eating time excluded). But I don't have kids, so that makes it a lot easier for me. I've even bought a little book light which I keep in the car so I can knit at night if we're going anywhere (while my husband is driving, of course!)
I knit at work meetings on Thursday & at my Monday knitting group & then in the evenign most nights. I don't have kids so time is a little more free
I actually have 'set' times I knit/spin. 1st thing in the am while kids are eating breakfast. At 2pm, during the kids daily 'room time' and starting about 8pm after my part of the bedtime routine is completed. It is just the way it is. I make it happen. It keeps me sane and have something to look forward to at regular, small intervals during the day.
I'm a nurse case manager so spend a lot of most days sitting in waiting rooms to see the doctor. I sit and knit! I knit very little at home but when I do, it's usually late at night.
I struggle to find time, too, although with a 10 year old and a 13 year old, I love to knit while waiting at piano lessons, soccer practice, boy scout meetings, etc!
But my desire is to have prime time during the day to knit. I'm too tired at night to truly enjoy my knitting, but all the prime day time is filled with chores!
My kids are grown and have kids of their own.. So I can knit whenever I like :) Which is usually at night watching TV and I knit for my 6 Grandchildren :)
